The Gleam of Moonlight

It's back to arts and crafts again....

It's been so long....
until I finally grabhold of the colour papers, colour pens and all things you need for making crafts again. Winter break's over and it's back to uni after 3 weeks. Gotta get geared up for the 2nd sem!
Results came out and I was extremely pleased :) Though it's a lil' unexpected.
So I've made a promise to myself that I'll work harder..

Although I'm not working at the foodcourt at the moment, I still have uni work, badminton and Oxygen events to keep me physically and mentally active.
So one of the new things I've tried on this sem is helping designing flyers for Oxygen events.

Tada~! with the help from a friend with a Mac, thanks heaps! :)
Malaysian Food Fest is on this coming Saturday! And the duty for all the North Terracers is to prepare 60 people worth of mouth-watering spicy Nasi Lemak! Hopefully they'll turn out fine :)

After a few emails with dear Hui Inn, I suddenly realise how people are reluctant or afraid to step out of their comfort zone. Most people will grow in the field where they become doctors, pharmacist or lab scientists because all these while they've been dealing with science. I'm not too sure if I've been having that mindset as well...I'm a science stream student and always will be. I've thought of taking up interior design, mass comm but the ideas didn't last long enough.

So since I've chosen this pathway, I might as well turn the art ideas into a hobby?

Maybe that's also a reason why I always choose to hand make cards for friends instead of purchasing them.

Because they are more unique
Because they're one of a kind...
and you can always design them in the way that suits their personality or character.

Man, I realised there're so many August babies here! since they don't know my blog..
here goes two recently handmade cards and photos~

Happy birthday! <3
